Sunday Strawberries

Sunday night is Strawberry night.
I take my last stroll around the neighborhood at 9:45ish.
Prices are slashed on plastic tubs stuffed with softening strawberries.
4500 won for six pints.
I rinse, I cut, I pick.
One for tomorrow’s breakfast – one for me, one for the freezer and Friday’s oatmeal – one for me, one for tomorrow night’s dessert – one for me.
